Das nicht zuletzt unter Shooter-Freunden mit Spannung erwartete Unreal Tournament 3 könnte sich erneut verspäten. Wie einem aktuellen Thread im offiziellen Forum zu entnehmen ist, ist der angepeilte Veröffentlichungstermin im November dieses Jahres längst nicht mehr sicher. „Wir wissen nicht genau, wann das Spiel fertig wird“, erklärt Mark Rein in besagtem Thread. „Wir haben nur gesagt, dass wir hoffen, das Spiel im November veröffentlichen zu können, doch es gibt keine Garantie.“ Damit torpediert Epic den vom Distributor Midway im Rahmen der letzten E3 ausgegebenen Starttermin vom 19. November. An diesem Tag, so hieß es bei Midway damals, werde die PC- und PlayStation-3-Version von Unreal Tournament 3 erscheinen. Die Xbox-360-Variante sollte irgendwann im kommenden Jahr folgen. Entsprechend einer möglichen generellen Verschiebung der Starttermine dürfte auch die Xbox-Version noch länger auf sich warten lassen. Nähere Informationen zu einem möglichen neuen Releasetermin sind bisher nicht vorhanden. Nicht schon wieder, Jungs .............. |
